Since the beginning of Christian Spuck's directorship, the Manfred Strohscheer Foundation and the Staatsballett Berlin have enjoyed a close and outstanding partnership. The foundation repeatedly supports new productions of the Staatsballett and makes impressive sets possible - including for the dance pieces Bovary and Winterreise by Christian Spuck. The narrative ballet and complete work of art Nureyev, directed by Kirill Serebrennikov, is also being realized thanks to the generous support of the Manfred Strohscheer Foundation.

The foundation is also helping the Staatsballett Berlin to be the first German company to close a historical gap: With a digital exhibition on the website, Berlin's ballet history from its beginnings in 1742 is curated and made accessible to a wide audience. Important events, personalities and places are vividly presented and a sustainable educational offer is created.
